Specialized Trauma Therapy

Brittany Taylor
Therapist – MA – LPCC
Having witnessed trauma in my own life, I understand the depth of both hurt and healing. My passion for the next generation and for walking with both teens and young adults through their unique journeys has always been at the heart of what I do. Empowering the next generation in Orange County is not just a mission, it’s a mindset that shapes how I show up in every session. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve supported individuals in private practices, group settings, rehab centers, camps, churches, and conferences. I bring specialized training that helps me build authentic, trusted relationships with the next generation, while also offering effective care for adults through evidence-based approaches like CBT and EMDR.
I hold a master’s degree from Liberty University and have advanced training in anxiety and trauma, including certifications from The Allender Center and Integrative Nutrition. My work is grounded in helping individuals unlock their potential and experience lasting healing, one session at a time.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked with the next generation at a large church in Newport Beach, CA. I value ongoing professional growth in an environment that is collaborative and respectful. I work with teens, individuals, couples, and families seeking growth in areas like anxiety, trauma, and relationships.
Working with creatives is something I deeply value. As the voice of the teacher on the children’s show Cocomelon, I’ve experienced firsthand the pressures that come with performance and public expectation. I work to empower your unique strengths, guiding you to discover personal insight and confidence. My goal is to create a space where your creativity and identity can thrive.

Colby and Brittany Taylor
At OC Mental Wellness, Colby and Brittany Taylor bring both personal experience and deep compassion into their care for others. Having navigated seasons of loss, death, grief, and trauma themselves, they know firsthand how heavy life can feel and how powerful therapy can be in the healing process. For them, therapy has been more than a tool; it has been a lifeline, giving them space to process pain, find strength, and rediscover hope. Because of this, their desire is to come alongside others who are hurting, to create a safe and supportive environment where healing is possible and no one has to walk through life’s hardest moments alone. They have been married for over 15 years, and have two boys, Levi (8) and Pace (4).
